Questions

When is Govardhan Puja in 2026?

Govardhan Puja is on Tuesday 10 November 2026. The new moon runs on past Diwali this year, so it falls two days after Lakshmi Puja rather than the next day. Dates are from Drik Panchang for New Delhi; your local calendar may differ by a day.

What is Annakut?

Annakut, "a mountain of food", is the offering made on Govardhan Puja: dozens of dishes heaped before Krishna in memory of the hill he lifted to shelter Braj from the storm, then shared as prasad.

Is sending a Govardhan Puja greeting free?

Yes. Making and sending a greeting on Invitely is free and needs no sign-up, and the person you send it to needs no app: the link opens in their phone's browser.

Can I write their name in Hindi?

Yes. Type it in Devanagari, like आशा, and it appears correctly on the greeting and on the picture the chat shows. Names in English and Urdu work too.
