Terms

Last updated 2 October 2026

These are the rules for using Invitely. By making an account, making an invite or a greeting, or replying to one, you agree to them.

The service

Invitely lets you make invitations and festive greetings and share them as links. Guests can reply without an account. Some features need a paid plan. The team that runs Invitely provides the service.

Your account

  • You must be 16 or over to make an account.
  • Use an email address that is yours, and keep your password to yourself.
  • You are responsible for what is done from your account.

What you put on Invitely

What you write and upload stays yours. You give us permission to store it and to show it to people who have the link, only so that the service can work.

  • Use only text and pictures you have the right to use.
  • Add only guests you are entitled to invite, and use their details only for the event.

What is not allowed

  • Anything illegal, or that harasses, threatens or promotes hatred of people.
  • Sexual content involving minors, in any form.
  • Spam: invitations or greetings sent in bulk to people who do not know you.
  • Pretending to be someone else, or invites made to trick people into giving money or passwords.
  • Malware, or links to it.
  • Scraping the site, overloading it, or getting around its limits.

Reports and removal

Anyone can report an invite. We may unpublish an invite, remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we tell the host why.

Photos from Unsplash and Pixabay

Cover photos from the photo search come from Unsplash and Pixabay under their own licences, and the credit is shown on the invite. We cannot promise that a photo stays available.

  • The price is the one shown when you buy.
  • Payments are taken by Dodo Payments, which sells the plan to you on our behalf. Its terms apply to the payment itself.
  • A subscription renews until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your billing page.
  • Refunds follow the refund policy.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Invitely running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may change or remove features. If we remove something you have paid for, we tell you beforehand.

Our responsibility to you

Invitely is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here takes away rights the law says cannot be taken away.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may close an account that breaks these rules. How your information is handled is set out on the privacy page.

Changes and contact

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and hosts are told by email.

Questions about these terms are welcome. A contact address will be listed here before Invitely opens to the public.
